Ward Sabha Feb 14, 2021

 

Ward Sabha was held today, (Feb 14, 2021) in Sree Bhadra Hall from 10:00 am to 12 pm presided by Councilor Sri AV Reghu and coordinated by Municipal staff Smt Julie Davis. Sri Vijayan (IRS) gave the introductory speech after which Councilor read out the agenda and the various Municipal schemes under different Karma Samithis of the Municipality. 

Sri Saji Kumar, Smt Indu Teacher, Sri Anil Kumar, Sri Unnikrishnan, Sri Diwakaran, Sri Jojo Mundadan, Sri Roby Kumarackal, Sri Thankachan, Sri Kuttappan, Sri Nagendran, Smt Philomina, Smt Silvi, Sri PV Prasad, Sri Verghese, Sri George and Sri Harikrishnan gave valuable  suggestions. Sri Kuttapan thanked the gathering. 

Some of the key suggestions which ward councilor can undertake are :

Bee Farming training for kids in association with Agriculture Department and also planting of bee friendly plants. 

Inviting cyber cell personnel to interact occassionally with youth in view of the many cyber crimes and assaults which youngsters may not be able to handle themselves. 

Speed control indicators (sped limit boards and warning lights) from double palam. 

Penalty for littering/ throwing garbage in any area in the ward. 

One- Way sign board giving timings in Nayarangadi temple road  to school road. 

Paramon colony road flooding issue to be addressed with suitable solution. 

Snake catcher to be assigned to the ward. Identifying a person and giving his contact no to members.
